Hiring: Marketing Executive
I'm looking for my next valued team member to help spread the word about the beautiful Body Mind Connect community. If you have 1-3 years marketing experience and are looking for a flexible freelance role read on.
Over the last 3 years my practice has expanded, meaning that my team and I are providing support to more people than ever. We do this in 1:1 sessions and through the Body Mind Connect membership site, which offers weekly evening workshops.
This is rewarding and meaningful work, but I’ve become clearer that my skills lie in doing the work not explaining the benefits of the work to those who may need it.
As our healthcare systems are under strain, more and more people with chronic illness are left to find answers for themselves, which is a hard and sometimes damaging journey. There are many out there that will exploit this vulnerability and over-promise solutions that are far from effective, or evidence based. ​
I created Body Mind Connect as an affordable gym-type membership option for people who want ongoing skills training and exercises for nurturing the mind-body connection in a safe community with advice that can be trusted. Now I just want more people to know it is an option. We have discounts available for those experiencing financial hardship and we don’t tie people in.
This is why I am now advertising for a freelance Marketing Executive. This position is freelance and part time, but with the right individual getting the right results I’d love to grow the role and the scope for progression.
Skills and Experience
Experience: At least 1-3 years marketing work experience
Personal qualities: A proactive, organised and entrepreneurial individual who has both vision and the implementation skills to bring the vision to life. A methodical and results oriented person who can lead projects and keep teams accountable, with a warm and interpersonal manner. Pragmatic and efficient.
Digital marketing skills: Knowledge and experience of funnels, nurturing email sequencing, social media strategy and execution including platforms like TikTok, LinkedIn.
Project management: Highly organised, deadline adherent and capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously with attention to detail. Able to lead teams and keep me accountable to targets. Use of analytic tools to assess impact and augment strategies accordingly.
Membership models: Experienced with or knowledgeable of membership or subscription-based models. Skilled at retention strategies as well as building memberships/
Partnership and outreach: Able to find collaborators and partners for both the clinic and Body Mind Connect membership and design and orchestrate partner strategies.
Graphic design: Having an eye for simple graphic design to amend webpages, ebooks, emails and landing pages.
Content and copywriting: Able to ethically and effectively communicate value-aligned messaging to promote Body Mind Connect membership and enhance simplicity of landing pages. To create cross-platform content strategies with timelines, making use of past content from webinars, membership content, blogs, podcasts and mailouts.
Working arrangements

Remote, London based ideally but for the right candidate willing to consider those based outside of London and able to periodically travel in.

Reporting to Dr Sula, coordinating with membership manager with regular meeting and weekly mini-reports and quarterly comprehensive reports

Base pay plus no-cap commission and retention bonus. 1.5 days a week (12 hours) at £900 a month.

Freelance, for 6 month trial period with further 6 month subject to trial. Opportunity to expand hours or convert to salaried role beyond 12 months subject to performance and results
